![]() Pics of all is available along with notes from mechanic, emissions, etc. The transmission and part surrounding were not replaced properly causing additional fees, costs, undue waiting to use the vehicle. Once mechanic placed properly/tightened, the car passed emissions & was drivable. This created vacuum/air intake issues when driving thus resulting in me not driving my vehicle since July 2022 and not being able to pass emissions. He found the Air Intake Hose had not been properly attached nor tightened. ![]() Because of this the car could not pass emissions and sat until I had another mechanic review the engine on. I was told the issue with the car was a turbo boost issue that did not have anything to do with the transmission. **** took back the car, replaced sensor, test drove and apologized for battery issue. I notified the shop manager, ****, after the holiday that the Escape was not running properly, no power when driving, truck died in route home due to battery issue which could've been avoided altogether. He stated the car was jumped and left on so I could drive it but said not to turn off the car since battery was bad. I went back inside to ask the technician if they had checked the battery. The tech took my payment, told me the car was running already and sent me on my way. I picked up my Escape before noon as the technician was leaving early for holiday. ![]() (Since the parts were torn out, this was the time to replace the battery.) Despite my request, nobody called from the shop while the repairs were being completed. I requested to know if the battery was also dead as the car had been towed into the company & required parts to be removed to replace the battery. I was told to pickup the car on 7.01.22 before noon. ![]() Paid company to replace my 2014 **** Escape transmission on 6/21/22. ![]()
